In Teba, On the 1,2,3 August 2014
Come and join the Scottish and English Party !! Its time for the world famous James Douglas Celebration in Teba, Málaga.
One of the most outstanding episodes of Inland Spain and Tebas history was the death of Black Douglas before his castles walls.
This character was a commanding officer of the Scottish army, who, on his way to the crusades and carrying the heart of the king of Scotland, Robert The Bruce, allied with the Christian army who at that moment were attacking the castle. There is a commemorative plaque of that battle in the square.
Once per year the Douglas Days are Held.
Medieval Markets, reenactments, theatre, Scottish Music, and the famous tribute to James Douglas.
Do come! You wont regret it 🙂
